At Sports Generation, we believe that swimming should be taught at a young age and we offer two different forms of lessons – term time lessons and intensive holiday courses.
We often get asked which one is better so we thought we’d give you reasons why you should book term time lessons Vs. Intensive courses.
Term Time Lessons
At Sports Generation, our swimming lessons take place during school term time. Each class lasts for 30-minutes on a weekly basis resulting in progress every week.
Our lessons have are private or shared private meaning your child will have the undivided attention from the swim coach providing you with great value for money and delivering you results.
Children get into a routine of attending swimming lessons on a regular basis and it’s a great way to socialise. Interacting with other children in a shared private class can encourage motivation and a slight sense of competition which can help the child’s development in the pool.
Intensive Courses
Intensive courses take place during half term and school holidays. They are a great tool to keep your child active and entertained during the holidays. The lessons take place over 5 days which means they have an activity for each day of the half term holidays.
You will see a difference in your child’s swimming over a short period of time. The short interval between sessions contributes to the retention and refinement of skills and the overall development of your child’s swimming. The shared private lessons that we provide, ensures that the coach can work on any weaknesses over the week of lessons.
Our intensive courses are a great way to try out Sports Generation swimming lessons. Your child will get to meet our fantastic swimming coaches, swim in our warm and luxurious indoor pools and experience our way of teaching swimming.
