At Sports Generation your child can start swimming from 3 months old and they can continue their swimming journey with us until they are 13 years old.
Sports Generation prides itself on the quality of coaches they have and their ability to manage all levels of swimmer appropriately, whether they are a baby who has never been in the water before, a nervous non-swimmer or a fledging improver swimmer hoping to make the school swim team.

Levels
Introduces your baby to the pool. Works on water confidence through fun and games with parents in the water. A critical time for your baby to get used to enjoying the water.
Introduces a number of new exercises to parents and babies, based around water confidence. Introduces babies to swimming with a mixture of buoyancy aids.
Able to perform fundamental swimming skills such as breathing, paddling and kicking. Develop an understanding of submersion and independent swimming.
Prepares toddlers to swim independently from parents by working on listening skills and the ability to take instruction, alongside their swimming skills.
Swims with floats/noodles. Nervous swimmers who are using swimming aids.
STAGE 1
Children must be water confident, try to swim order strattera without aids and be happy to put their face into the water.
stage 2
Water confident but cannot swim any strokes. Able to swim on front and back 5m minimum.
stage 3
Can swim basic recognisable strokes on front and back. Must be able to swim 10m on both.
stage 4
Confident in front crawl, breast stroke and back crawl. This class is aimed at improving stamina and stroke development in preparation for lengths. Children must be able to swim 20m.
stage 5
Able to swim 40m comfortably on front and back. Technique in three major strokes to be of a fair standard. Confident in deep water..
stage 6
Good developed stroke co-ordination in the three main strokes. Able to swim 80-100m
stage 7
Competent and strong in the three main strokes and a fair understanding of butterfly. Good diving technique. Able to swim 200-400m.
stage 8
Competent in all four strokes. Junior swimmers up to the age of 10 yrs. Preparing for 60 minute swim.
