Tara Rahilly
Operations Manager
Sport has been a passion of mine from a very young age. Throughout school and university, I played several competitive sports which encouraged me to teach and pass this passion onto others. I have been teaching swimming since 2011. I have experience teaching babies, children and adults at a variety of private swimming pools and health clubs across London.
I am a Geography and Physical Sport Education graduate (Bsc Hons). My degree exposed me to various teaching styles, session structure models and research on athlete development. I tailored this knowledge to each individual class I taught at Sports Generation and now pass this knowledge onto our SG coaches.
I started at Sports Generation in February 2015 and worked here throughout my time at university. I coached in Richmond and Chiswick whilst being a bookings administrator part time. Since graduating, I progressed in my role and became the Swimming Co-ordinator, then onto the Programme Manager and I am now the Operations Manager. I am very proud to be part of Sports Generation. Swimming is a precious life skill. I am very lucky to be part of a company that can give this ability to others. The best part about being part of Sports Generation is watching our non-swimmers grow into confident and competitive young adults.
I am grateful to be part of such a talented and professional team. I have never worked with a team of coaches who provide not only the best swimming lessons but who truly care about their swimmers and clients. Our coaches really go the extra mile to ensure that their swimmers are not only having fun, but they are progressing each week.
