Melissa Correia
Programme Co-ordinator
One thing that I have always been certain of is my love and passion for the sport of swimming. Growing up as a competitive swimmer, it has always been an immense part of my life and it is something I have grown to know and adore.
After leaving the sport to focus on studies, I felt that there was this part of me that was missing. I had begun university to pursue a primary teaching career but something felt incomplete. Whilst studying, I worked part-time as a lifeguard and then qualified to become a swimming teacher. This allowed me to still pursue teaching but in a field of something that I had obtained a lot of knowledge of over years of competitive swimming.
I had then decided to follow my passion, I had left university and entered a career revolving around the sport that I love dearly and I have never looked back. I am now proudly Programme Co-ordinator for Sports Generation. As Programme Co-ordinator, I handle current bookings and follow up new enquiries; ensuring that all clients of Sports Generation are provided excellent customer service. Another part of my role is visiting our 10 private venues, speaking to our coaches and clients to make sure that lessons are running to brand standard. I am so grateful to work with such an amazing, professional team.
