I’ve been swimming since I was young, thanks to my mom’s teaching. My journey as a swimming teacher began when I worked at a pool and observed swimming lessons. Witnessing the joy of teaching and my affinity for working with children, I found my calling as a swimming instructor.
What I find most fulfilling about being a swimming coach is witnessing the progress children make and knowing I’ve contributed to nurturing a vital life skill. Swimming isn’t just a sport; it’s a skill that can save lives and opens up opportunities in other water-based activities.
In my teaching approach, I prioritise connecting with the children, making learning enjoyable. I believe it’s important to show them that learning can be both fun and beneficial.
