COACH claudia
I became a proficient swimmer early in life since my mother used to take me and my sisters to swim every morning before school. We simply loved it and continued swimming to stay fit.
During the summer of 2014, I volunteered to help with swimming lessons at my daughters’ school, and the school offered a training course with Swim UK to teach for them. After the training, a friend I was swimming with asked to join her swimming company and that is how my coaching journey started. It is fun, rewarding and I continue to learn a lot. I am an artist, and I enjoy having another career that is quite different.
I love being a swimming coach because it feels great to know that with your help less people will drown. I understand water skills and it is gratifying knowing you have passed on the knowledge that is useful to others.
I believe that swimming is one of the fundamental skills any individual should learn. Planet earth’s surface is covered by 71% water, so it is necessary to know how to move on it for safety reasons.
I encourage my swimmers to put efforts into whatever they do, so that they will receive great results in return. I am a Christian woman, a mother, a patient person who loves sharing and helping others achieve and improve their life skills.
